Delete your account

Delete your roda.social account

Open your profile → Settings → Delete account, read the warning and confirm. Successful deletion revokes sessions. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Deletion cannot be undone.

Without the app

An external deletion request channel is not configured yet. This draft is not ready for Google Play's Account deletion URL field. A verified contact or functioning request form must be added. Requests should identify the account email and username; ownership must be verified through the account email. Never send login codes or tokens to support.

Deleted and retained data

Email, legacy phone number, date of birth, profile fields and avatar are cleared; push tokens are deleted and sessions revoked. Posts, stories, follows, notifications, contacts and recommendation signals are removed or scheduled for cleanup. Deleted post files become eligible for cleanup after 30 days for abuse evidence.

Sent messages remain with chat recipients. Remove individual messages before deleting your account if needed. A technical account record with profile fields cleared keeps the invitation chain intact. Pending invitations stop working. Reports, moderation decisions and restrictions remain; active sanctions can be linked to a hashed sign-in identifier to prevent evasion.

Final support response times and retention periods for backups, logs and moderation records must be approved before store submission. Copies saved by others outside roda are beyond the service's control.
